I love this picture! It's fantastic--you are incredibly skilled. I think this picture is just about perfect, but if I were to make any suggestion at all (unsolicited, granted) it would be to crop the bottom at the end of the line on the far left hand (at the bottom, midway up the shield form). This would eliminate the sharp transition between definition & vagueness at the bases of the three hands. This vagueness is lovely throughout the rest of the piece--especially the soldiers in the background. One other element that might improve by a slight adjustment are the flame flickers on the left part of the picture. Some of red flickers/graphics are horizontally aligned, and some are arranged in a vertical spiral. I think picking one arrangement works better. I would choose the vertical spiral, as it mimics smoke rising out of the field (and also accentuates the curved vertical form of the boy rising up out of the horizon line).
Lastly, I love the concept of this boy as a werewolf--he seems perfectly suited to that character & is a unique depiction of a lycanthrope.
